Running Softdent Utilities on Softdent versions 9.5, 9.6 and 9.8

Close all open instances of Softdent on the network (If a instance is left running, utilities will warn you and close out). You will need to run Softdent on the server (the computer which is storing the Softdent database & files that all computers use.)

1. Open Softdent Utilities, then click on file in the menu.

2. Select "Find Largest ID" (watch for a message saying "incorrect max ID's" If that message comes up, you will need to call Softdent.)

3. Click on file and run the Find Repair Corrupt utility.  When the window opens that asks if you want to pause between records, click "no".

4. Click on file and run the Rebuild/Reindex utility. This utility will take the longest to run.
